News: 9 sign letters of intent in Friendswood ISD on Signing Day

Landry Lowe, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Texas State University. She hopes to major in business. At FHS she played soccer and basketball.
Landry is the daughter of Karen and Blake Lowe. She is joined signing with her parents, Soccer Coach Laura Peter and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Lauren Massar, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play softball for The University of Texas-Tyler. She plans to major in chemistry.  At Friendswood High School, Lauren played softball, and freshman basketball and participated in Campus Choir and the Recycling Club.
Lauren is the daughter of Joe and Jennifer Massar and is joined at her signing by sister Ashley, Softball Coach Kevin Parr and Coach Kassie Pustejovsky.

Robert Brown, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for the Colorado School of Mines. He plans to major in Chemical Engineering. At FHS, he was involved in football, wrestling, and computer science.
Robert is the son of Jan and Bob Brown. He is joined at the signing by his parents, Coach Michael Lindsey and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Hayden Gardner, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for Truman State University in Missouri. He plans to major in business. At FHS, he participated in football and track.
Hayden is the son of Gary and Kathy Gardner and Ross and Ann-Marie Johnson. He was joined by both sets of parents, Coach Nathan Roher and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter at his signing.

Seaver Myers, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. He plans to major in business.
Seaver is the son of Diane Myers and Bill Vinson. He is joined by parents, Dr. Myrlene Kennedy, Coach Robert Koopman and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Benson Chidester, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for Cisco Junior College. He plans to major in kinesiology. At FHS he participated in football and basketball.
Benson is the son of Shawn and Kimberly Chidester. He was joined at his signing by his parents,  Running Coach Jay Barnett and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Bridget Richie, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Texas State University. She plans to major in business.
Bridget is the daughter of Tommy and Janis Richie. She was joined at her signing by her parents, and Coach Laura Peter and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Joan Gray, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play softball for Trinity Valley Jr. College. She plans to major in English. At FHS, she not only played softball but also participated in cheerleading.
Her parents are Tim and Cathy Gray.
She was joined at her signing by her parents and siblings  Timmy and Erin Gray as well as Coach Kassie Pustejovsky, Coach Kevin Parr and Athletic Director Steve VanMeter.

Trevor Stevens, Friendswood High School senior, has signed a letter of intent to play football for The University of Texas-San Antonio. He plans to major in finance. At FHS, he played football and participated in  PALS program and in the One Act Play. He is the son of Eric and Kelly Stevens.
Trevor was joined at the signing by his parents, Coach Michael Lindsey, Athletic Director Steve VanMeter and Coach Robert Koopman.
