The 2012 Academic Decathlon team has been named at Friendswood High School.  Nine students make up the team with five alternates.
           After seven months of meetings and hundreds of hours of study, the following students make up the team which is divided by three categories of Honors, Scholastic and Varsity sections:

            The team will compete at the Regional Meet hosted at FHS January 21. Sponsors are Renae Simons, Arden Curtis,   and Ashley Birmingham.
