The Friendswood Varsity tennis team competed in the Humble Invitational Tennis Tournament last weekend. 
          Brittany and Kaitlyn Vu finished second place in girls doubles.  Conner Callaway and Matt Kibikas finished first place in boys doubles for the second consecutive tournament. 
          “Congratulations to these two teams and the entire varsity tennis team on a great tournament,” Head Tennis Coach Andi Morman said. 
          Friendswood varsity tennis will play their next tournament on Feb. 10 and 11 at the Deer Park Varsity tournament.
          Their opening tournament to the spring tennis season was held two weeks ago in College Station. FHS team members brought home honors from the Tiger Winter Classic Varsity Tennis Tournament.
          Matt Kibikas and Conner Callaway won first place in Boys Doubles.
          JoAnn Karam and Kent Tollette won first place in Mixed Doubles.
          In Girls Doubles, Brittany and Kaitlyn Vu won second place.
