The Touchdown Club has chosen Friendswood High School Mustangs nose guard Bobby Brown as their Scholar-Athlete finalist. He is the lone finalist in Galveston County for this honor.
            The Touchdown Club’s 13th annual Scholar-Athlete Luncheon will be held Nov. 9, 2011 at noon at J.W. Marriott Hotel in The Galleria.
            Guest speaker will be Jerry LeVias, former Houston Oiler and SMU All-American.
            Brown is one of 25 finalists in the Greater Houston area to be chosen from  high school football teams’ starter players.
            Bobby is the son of Robert and Janet Brown of Friendswood.
