Friendswood High School Theatre Presents its second annual Haunted Fest at Friendswood High School this Friday October 28 and 29th from 6 pm to 11pm.
This Friday and Saturday night you have a chance to be scared senseless at Friendswood High School Drama Department's haunted house the Friendswood Horror Show! Come tour the terrors backstage in the auditorium and experience classic scenes of Halloween Horror. The haunted house will be open from 6pm to 11pm and tickets are only $5 at-the-door. Two tours are available, simply scary and truly terrifying so bring your little sisters and brothers as well as your friends.
Senior FHS Theatre students under the direction of Amy Thornton and senior, Michael Burke and junior, Kyle Sanders are preparing the backstage areas this week with the assistance of Technical Theatre I, II, III, and IV students as well as Theatre Production students. Students are converting the stage into a series of HAUNTED SCENES including: Classic Horror, Phantom, Carnival and Zombies. This gives opportunities for students to use special lighting, designing and technical equipment. The production is completely designed and directed by students, K. Powdrell says. We are guiding their design process and focus on safety, design and fun for our audiences.
The cost of the Haunted Horror Show is $5.00 at the door.
HHS is PG and family friendly ages 5 and up for simply scarey and a Truly Terrifying tour for all ages above 12.
