The Friendswood High School Swimming & Diving Team got off to a great start on the 2011-12 season as they hosted the 2nd Annual “FISD Sprint Kick-Off” in the FISD Natatorium recently.

Both the Lady Mustangs and the Mustangs won the 1st Place Team Trophies beating the 2nd place girls & boys teams from Clear Brook by well over 100 points each. The meet featured some of the tougher 4A competition in the Region with teams from Richmond George Ranch, Lamar Consolidated, Richmond Foster & Terry High School along with 5A schools Clear Brook and Alvin High School.

Head Coach John Little, and Assistant Coach Lacey Henry, seemed very pleased with the team’s results and were thankful for all of the help from the many parent volunteers. The meet ran very smoothly and finished ahead of schedule.
