Friendswood High School parents of juniors and seniors are invited to 11-12 Grade Parent Night September 28. The topics discussed make it a college planning night. 
          A general welcome will be at 6:15 pm with three 30 minute sessions following. 
          FHS counselors who are sponsoring the night are offering seven topics. The parents/students can choose their top three choices to attend that night.
          Topics include Starting out at Junior College –Theresa Jones (COM);  NCAA – Steve VanMeter (FHS);  The Application Process – Pam Campbell (San Jacinto College);   How to be Successful the First Year of College – Michele Betancourt (COM); Financial Aid & Scholarships – Carl Gordon (COM); Testing – Kate Nelson (Kaplan); and Selective Colleges, A Parent’s Perspective – Nona Landers (Parent).
