News: Mustang Follies set for two improv shows Sept. 24
posted: September 16, 2011

Prepare to laugh with Friendswood High School theatre students at  Mustang Follies, the annual improv show offered each fall.
FHS’ Improv Team is in its eighteenth year and will open this season with Mustang Follies on Saturday, September 24. Two shows will be performed at 7 pm and 9 pm in the newly renovated Studio Theatre.
FHS Alumni and former Improv Team member Colin David returns to FHS to direct the troupe of freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior actors. Under Colin’s direction the FHS Theatre students have been warming up their quick wits by challenging each other with the kinds of themes and situations they expect their audiences to be throwing at them at the two performances.
Tickets are $8 at the door.
            For more information call FHS 281 482 3413 x 115.

“With all the hustle and bustle of the opening school the Drama Department feels it is just about time to pause for a laugh,” FHS Theatre Director Kathy Powdrell said.
