Friendswood High School club, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, FCCLA, will host the first "Pink Out" at Henry Winston Stadium at the September 23 football game.
All proceeds will be sent to the American Breast Cancer Society and the D'Feet Breast Cancer Association, according to FCCLA sponsor Kathy Kahn.
“This year is being dedicated to Betty Bell, a long time teacher at FHS, who died last year from breast cancer,” Kahn said.
Several student organizations on campus such as Art Club, French Club, Student Council, Technology Students of America (TSA), Choir, Drama, and the Athletic Trainers are all participating.
Students will be handing out pink ribbons to everyone who attends the game.
Choir will also have a donation table at the dinner they are sponsoring.
FCCLA students will be selling pink tee-shirts and collecting donations. |
