Notice of Public Meeting
Friendswood ISD will hold a public meeting at 7 pm, TONIGHT in
the FISD Administration Building Board Room, 302 Laurel Drive,
Friendswood, TX. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Friendswood ISD's rating on the state's financial accountability system.

Band takes top honors at Marching Festival
Top honors belonged to the FHS Marching Band after participating in the Galena Park ISD Marching Festival held recently. The FHS Marching Band won First Place in Class 4A and had the highest overall score at the contest which included 17 - 5A bands.
The
Color Guard was First Runner Up out of all of the color guards at the
contest and the Percussion section was chosen as The Outstanding
Percussion Section of the entire contest, according to Band Director
Greg Dick.
The band will compete in the Bands of America Regional at Pearland High School Saturday, Oct. 11.
Directors
of the FHS Band are Greg Dick, Julio Sanchez, Aaron Brown and Color
Guard Director Ron Barnett.
