Green Schools Essay Contest
Just in time for Earth Day tomorrow, April 22, here's a chance for a student's thoughts to earn a new hybrid bus and $3000.00 in supplies for the district.  Students are invited to write an essay, not to exceed five hundred (500) words, about an elementary or secondary education school, grades K-12, ("School") that is committed to going green ("Submission"). The Submission should describe how the school shows its commitment to going green, how it teaches its students the value of green living, how it shows its dedication to green transportation, or how it embodies the spirit of a greener planet.
NOTE: If you are entering a Submission on behalf of a student under the age of thirteen (13), or someone who is unable to enter a Submission for any reason, you MUST have permission from the Submission author ("Author"), and, if applicable, his/her parent/legal guardian.
