FJH hosts high school planning 3 days for parents
For three days, the first hallway in the Friendswood Junior High 'new building' will be an active and busy place. Parents, eighth grade students and many high school personnel are there Monday through Wednesday, explaining the high school's four year plan and assisting students in determining their courses for the next four years. "This is a great opportunity for our parents and students to understand what is ahead," FJH Principal Dana Drew said. "We are excited to host this event and we appreciate the high school counselors and staff members who are helping us make this happen." Parents and students get one on one help in understanding the four-year plan and what is available at FHS to prepare their child for his/her future career of choice. Assistant Principals and counselors are meeting with the families.
