  Orders have begun for Friendswood Junior High parents to get school supplies. For the upcoming new school year, FJH parents can order online only at www.epipacks.com. Orders will be taken for six weeks only and dates run May 4-June 17.

   Chess players in 72 elementary, intermediate and high schools competed recently when the Friendswood High School Chess Club hosted a Houston Chess Association Scholastic Chess Tournament at Friendswood High School.

Military Academy Day
   Congressman Ron Paul is hosting the annual Military Academy Day May 9 and all high school freshman, sophomores and juniors are invited to attend the event. This event is in conjunction with several federal local officials, including U.S. Texas Senators Hutchison and Cornyn, and Congressmen Culberson, Doggett, McCaul and Olson.
