Windsong Intermediate's Student Council has asked their fellow students to "Join the fight against Leukemia!"  By asking students to donate their spare change they are hoping to reach their goal of $1500.

One class has gone above and beyond by trying to earn money to not only meet this goal but to surpass it.  Ms. Martinez' 6th grade homeroom class has decided that in addition to  donating their own spare change, they would ask people in the community to help others.  They are asking for donations from their parishioners at church, they are asking people in their neighborhood to donate and one young man gave away donuts when someone chose to donate their spare change.  These kids are making a huge difference in the lives of others.
