Friendswood Junior High drama department has been busy with activities to end the first semester.

On December 11, The FJH drama department initiated more members into the International Thespian Society (ITS). These students have earned at least 10 points for their efforts and contributions in the FJH Theatre Department.

The students celebrated by playing improvisation games and eating cake.  They joined current ITS members Mallory Ballard, Alyssa Flaum, Sean Goodwin, Jacob Maddux and Lindsey Shields.  Sponsors are Jane May and Lana Garcia.

Initiates include Marley Bourgeois, Breanna Sadler, Madeleine Leboeuf, Maggie Geiler, Colin Peek, Brian Correll, Alberneshia Hill, Joseph Thomas, Andy Derr, Nick Kistler, Brady Wells, Lauren Roy, Monica Spradlin, and Madeline Adams.

Additional initiates will be introduced in the Spring. 

On December 12, Theatre Performance class students presented a live variety show for students and parents.  Students showcased acting skills they learned in class such as group acting scenes, monologues, pantomime, lip syncs, reader's theatre, and poetry.
