Friendswood High School students brought home honors from the C.E. King UIL Academic Invitational that was held recently. All students who attended placed in at least one event, according to sponsor Annette Walter.

In Calculator contest, FHS students placed in the top six spots.  Ben Braun received first place with Chris Cotter second, Noah Kessler third, Nathan Nguyen fourth, Chase Stanford fifth and Diane Kirov sixth.

In Number Sense, Chris Cotter was in first place with Noah Kessler second, Nathan Nguyen third, Ben Braun and Diana Kirov tied for fourth, and Logan Hodge sixth.

In Computer Applications, Winston Wu received first place with a perfect score, Ben Braun second and Noah Kessler third.

Chris Cotter received first place with a perfect score in Computer Science. Ben Braun received second, Winston Wu third and Noah Kessler fourth.

In Math, all six top spots were awarded to FHS students. Chris Cotter received first place with Ben Braun second, Noah Kessler third, Diana Kirov fourth, Winston Wu fifth and Nathan Nguyen sixth.

In Science, Christ Cotter received first place and Ben Braun second.

Winston Wu received third place in Spelling.
