News: FISD to offer ESL summer school program

Friendswood ISD will be offering a summer school program to students who speak English as a Second Language (ESL).  The students must be kindergarteners or first graders during the 2009 – 2010 school year.

This program will be free to all qualifying students.


The summer school program will be Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. from June 17 to August 6.

If you have questions about eligibility please call Stephen Cloyd at Westwood Elementary at 281-482-3341. Paperwork to sign up is available at all campuses or Central Office at 302 Laurel Dr.

Friendswood ISD ofrecerá un programa escolar de verano para los estudiantes que hablan inglés como segundo idioma (ESL). Los estudiantes deben concurrir al jardín de infantes o a primer grado durante el año escolar 2009 - 2010.

Este programa es gratuito para todos aquellos estudiantes que cumplan con los requisitos. De lunes a jueves de 8:15 a. m. a 12:15 p. m., desde el 17 de junio al 6 de agosto.
