Based on the first of two books about life in the jungles of India, Rudyard Kipling’s beloved classic is brought to life in this beautiful adaptation for the stage by Stuart Paterson.
The Jungle Book is the tale of Mowgli, the boy raised by the wolves, Akela and Raksha, and hunted by the fierce tiger, Shere Khan. As he grows, he is taught the ways of the Jungle by Baloo, the bear, and Bagheera, the panther.
In the end, Mowgli must choose between the life he has always known and the life into which he was born.
FHS leads include Chandler Stevic as Mowgli, Blake DeWitt as Baloo, Bobby Jacobs as Bagheera, Peter Kaminsky as Akela, and Emily Townsend as Raksha. Amy Thornton is the director.
Tickets are $7 at the door.
