News: Cline Elementary sets date for annual fundraiser Clinefest
posted: September 1, 2008

C.W. Cline's annual fundraiser, Clinefest 2008, is scheduled for October 25, 2008. Clinefest will again offer children opportunities to climb a rock wall, sliding down the double slide, conquer the spider crawl and play cool games inside for a chance at winning some a variety of popular prizes.

In the cafeteria, those attending Clinefest can buy pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, and a variety of snack items as well as cold drinks.

The popular raffle items return for this year. For just $10, individuals will be entered for a chance at winning a spectacular entertainment package complete with a large flat screen TV, 5.1 surround sound system and a Nintendo Wii Game System.

The students will have large basket raffles of their own to win. New raffle basket themes include Wii Guitar Hero, Wii Mario Cart, and Camp Rock with the Jonas Brothers.  Old favorites such as Nintendo DS, American Girl and Legos will also be included. Parents will have the opportunity to view the baskets and purchase tickets at Family Lunch Days October 14, 16, 21 and 23.

Parents will have fun bidding on student art projects, VIP parking spots, special projects with teachers, and many other great items in the silent and live auction.

To donate live and silent auction items, contact Kim Girouard at 281-787-9362 or Kelley Waters at 281-731-0571 by October 1.

“We are very excited to once again offer your child the chance to purchase a Make Your Mark on Cline tile.  Purchased tiles can be completed at The Painted Potter over the coming months and will be installed at the school’s front entrance next March.  Look for the flier in an upcoming Friday folder,” PTO Chairman Debra Bridwell said.

All Clinefest proceeds benefit Cline Elementary.
