The state of Texas is offering to replace all books damaged due to Hurricane Ike.  If you have a water-damaged book, please return it to your teacher; the deadline to inform the school of your textbook loss is October 10. All water-damaged books reported during this time frame will be replaced at no cost to our families or the district.

However, water-damaged or lost books that are turned in at the end of the school year will be the responsibility of the student.  If you are unable to retrieve your books at this time, please visit with a school administrator to discuss your situation.  We are grateful to the state for this allowance and FISD remains committed to helping all families during this most difficult time.
