of the library staff to help plan research projects, and to instruct
students in information technology and techniques, research skills,
bibliographic citation, and use of the library. |

- Professional Library
The library subscribes
to thousands of full-text journals and newspapers online (home
access is available for most of these), and Dr. Kennedy subscribes
to many educational journals in print form as well. These are
housed with the books in our professional collection. Link to
our online tools page.

- Turnitin.com
- FHS subscribes to this very
effective plagiarism detection service. Contact the library for
access codes, and then follow simple directions online to register
your classes. Students submit their own papers, and they are
then compared to thousands of other documents found online and
in subscription services.

- A report is sent back, with
any duplication of language underlined, and with its source document

- Video and DVD library
These are housed in
the library office, and may be checked out at any time. There
is a TV/DVD player unit in the office that may be checked out
as well. We also have access to United Streaming Video database.
This will allow you to download videos to your computer to add
to lesson plans. Find them at http://www.unitedstreaming.com

- Resource Carts
The staff will check
out books on a cart to you for classroom use, if you desire.
