MARY CECILE CHAMBERS SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility: Senior
Criteria: Must be a male student residing in Texas with a good work ethic and a desire to attend college; not just grades alone. Applicant must have a grade point average of 78 (C+) or higher. Applicant must attend college, vocational school or trade school on a full time basis and must maintain 9 -12 hours each semester as well as maintain a 2.50 Cumulative GPA. If the applicant maintains 9 – 12 hours and a 2.50 Cumulative GPA, the scholarship is renewable until Bachelor degree is achieved. Please call Luann Bland at (409) 632-5233 with any questions.

Organization for autism Schwallie family scholarship program
Eligibility: Senior
Criteria: An individual with an established autism or Asperger Syndrome diagnosis and who will be attending an accredited institution of higher education in the United States for the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 semesters is eligible to apply. Eligible individuals need to be enrolled on at least a part-time basis (6 credits) or be working toward certification or accreditation in a particular field (e.g., studying to be a paralegal, chef, etc.) Past recipients of a Schwallie Family Scholarships or immediate family member of any person serving on OAR’s Board of Directors or Scientific Council are not eligible to apply. Criteria: The Texas Art Scholarship is set aside for High School graduation seniors in the state of Texas who exhibit exceptional artistic abilities and will pursue a major in fine arts at the college level. Students who wish to apply must submit the Scholarship Application along with an unofficial transcript, a typed essay, typed artist statement, and a CD of 10 original works.
