SAM HOUSTON STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Are you a high school student age 15 – 17 interested in criminal justice?
Would you like to gain hands-on experience in criminal justice? Would you like to meet law enforcement agents, professors, and other students who share your interest. Would you like to tour a prison or a crime lab? Would you like to investigate a mock crime scene? 2012 GIRLS REACHING AND DEMONSTRATING EXCELLENCE (GRADE)

SMU GIFTED STUDENTS INSTITUTE
TAG July 8 – July 27, 2012 – Academically talented students who have completed the 7th, 8th, or 9th grades jump start their future while experiencing the fun of learning during TAG’s three exciting weeks on the SMU campus.

TEXAS A & M CAMP ARCH 2012
WHO:  The Texas A&M College of Architecture is inviting all high school students and incoming freshman to join us this summer for Camp Arch!
WHAT:  Camp Arch is an exclusive, week-long interdisciplinary summer camp for students interested in architecture, visualization, construction science, landscape architecture, and urban planning. The goal of Camp Arch is to introduce students to the college lifestyle, course work and career opportunities involved in the TAMU College of Architecture! THE SUMMER ACADEMY AT ST. JOHN’S COLLEGE FOR HIGH
The Summer Academy is a residential program for rising high school juniors and seniors as well as graduating students taking a gap year. Following the same principles as St. John’s undergraduate program, students read original texts and participate in small discussion based classes led by St. John’s College faculty.  Students may participate in one or more weeks. SAN JACINTO COLLEGE – AEROSPACE ACADEMY TAS INTERNSHIP
The TAS Internship application is now available for Summer 2012.  Selected students will participate in a 10 week hands-on internship experience at Johnson Space Center under the supervision of a NASA technical mentor.  Participants must be available to work 10 consecutive weeks at 40 hours per week. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2012.  
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must meet all eligibility requirements by the date of application;
Must be a Texas Aerospace Scholars participant (HAS or CAS alumni);
Must be a United States citizen;
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree program with an academic major or demonstrated coursework concentration in engineering, mathematics, technology or science (STEM related discipline).
Must be classified as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior before the expected commencement of the internship session. (have at least 30 accumulated hours/credits);
Must have cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0 before the expected commencement of the internship session. 
If you meet the requirements listed above, please go to the TAS Internship website at: http://intern.nasa.gov/ and submit your application and supporting documentation through SOLAR.  There is not  an application specific for the TAS Internship, however when asked on the application if you have participated in a NASA program you will put High School Aerospace Scholars , spell it out do not put initials.  You can select up to 15 opportunities that interest you.
