Our next meeting will be this week on Thursday, February 2nd, from 4:00-4:30 in Miss McCarthy's room - 8219.  See all you ANIMANIACS next week!

6th Grade Social (6th Grade Only)  Friday, February 3rd (6:00 – 9:00 pm)

PTO will be available (Tuesday-Friday) this week during lunch to collect money or you can give the form and money to your extension teacher.

$15.00 entry covers:  DJ, Velcro Wall, 40’ Obstacle Course, Pizza, Candy, Drinks, Gift Card Raffle, Novelties for sale, open gym and free photos.

Tryouts for FJH Girls Tennis will begin on Monday, February 6 after school.  Tryouts are open to 7th and 8th graders with a Physical on file with the High School Athletic Trainer.  You must provide your own tennis racquet.  You must sign up in Coach Sanborn’s Room (8217) by Friday, February 3.

Attention 7th and 8th grade students!  Are you ready for one of the best dances of the year?  The annual Valentine's dance is going to be held Friday February 17 from 7-10pm.  Come out and dance the night away with a hip professional dj.  Tickets will be 5 dollars at the door and concessions will be held at the dance.  Don't have a date?  Not a problem, party rock with your friends!  See you then!

Tryouts Freshmen Cheer squad

There will be a mandatory cheer tryout meeting on Feb 22 at 6:30 pm in the FHS library for all 8th graders interested in trying out for the 2012-2013 Freshmen cheer squad. Information as well as tryout packets will be handed out at the meeting.

Attention UIL Academic Team:

Practice for your events will be on Thursdays right after school in the Trailblazer room.

 If you have signed up to participate in the UIL academic meet then you will need to stay after school on Thursdays for practice.

Please have your rides here to pick you up at 5:00 PM out front by the flagpoles.

Here are the results from the Rodeo judging  from Mrs. Berk's afternoon class:  For the Finalist ribbons (runners up to best in show) goes to Brandon Lantau, Madeline Grethen and Kaitlyn Ngo.  1st place blue ribboons:  Brody Beckman, Makayla Poling, Abilgail Ardoin, and the following students received 2nd place: Jessica Pham, Claire Battenfield, Shelby McKinney, Nancy Otto, Zach Montz, Cole Chase, Sam Flores, Rianna James, Steven Bui, & Mary Barnes. Third place went to Makenna Schneider, Katie Yeager, & Jennifer Regino. All these students' works are hanging by the 6th grade art room. Please congratulate these students for the hard work they put in.
