The 7A Mustang Football Team completed an undefeated season, winning the district title with a 13-6 playoff win against Fairmont. Tyler Page, once again, led the way scoring a touchdown on a kickoff return with a key block from Tom Hermes. Cade Roenne sealed the victory with a late touchdown run as well. The offensive had an outstanding season led by Corey Walker, Ashton Davis, Nathaniel Coyle, Matthew Virts, Thomas Phan, Parker Carnes, Henry Longbotham, Westin Owens, Trace Mertel and Alex Garza. The key to the game and season, however, was the play of the defense who repeatedly shut down opponents all year, giving up a total of 25 points 8 football games. The defense was led by Connor Stanford, Dylan LaFavers, Garrison Gansky, Griffin Schneider, Caden Owens, Logan Romano, Asa McClure, Chanse Wegner, Austin Stoerner, Zach Follis, Blake Burdick, Karney Linch, David Ward, Chase Willis, Jordan Elizondo and Nathan Gest.
