Lisa Cudd -7th Grade Counselor

Ms. Cudd attended college at the University of Central Oklahoma where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She began teaching 6th grade Math and Science in 1992. In 1997 She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University Of Houston – Clear Lake. She began counseling Junior High students in 1999 before moving to Friendswood ISD in 2006. Ms. Cudd has two amazing children who attend Friendswood Schools. She enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. You may contact Ms. Cudd at lcudd@fisdk12.net .

 

 

Jennifer Reed - 8th Grade Counselor

Mrs. Jennifer Reed has been in education for over 14 years and a professional school counselor for 8 years. She started her career in education teaching 7th and 8th grade math and also coached girls’ athletics at Lomax Junior High in LaPorte. She then continued her career teaching 6th grade at Alvin Elementary. The following four years she worked as a school counselor at Pearland Junior High West before moving to her current position as a 7th/8th grade counselor at Friendswood Junior High. Mrs. Reed has been married to her husband for 15 years and has three children, two boys and a girl. She loves to spend time scrapbooking, gardening, camping and going to the beach with her family. Take Effective Action Against Bullying Education.com, a Web destination for parents of school-aged children, and the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) have launched a Special Edition on Bullying at School and Online. This resource provides new information and tools to help parents take an active role in addressing bullying. In creating the Special Edition, Education.com and AASA worked with contributors from around the world to compile new evidence-based, peer-reviewed content to dispel common myths and empower parents and their children to take effective action against bullying. The result is a collection of more than 30 original reference articles, plus video clips, quizzes, online workshops, community forums and quick-fact lists-all available free of charge on the Web site.
