Dear Parents,
Friendswood Junior High entered 24 works of art from students in our Art One and Two classes. The Livestock and Rodeo Arts Committee judged the works on January 16 and the following students were recognized: Laura Kate Diller and Lisa Harrington - winners, Lindsay Barcholtz - honorable mention All artwork will be on display through
January 25 at the Art Alliance Center.
Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake This is the last week to order yearbooks. Please access our website to order your book directly from Taylor Publishing. We do not sell yearbooks at the school. Report Cards go home on Friday. There will quite a bit of information attached to the card this time, so please look it over carefully and call if you have any questions. TAKS TESTING DATE CHANGE: The testing date for our 7th grade Writing test and the 8th grade Reading test has changed from March 4 to March 5. The change was made statewide to accommodate the primary elections. Our coaches would like to thank everyone who has donated to our "Friends of the Program." Proceeds have purchased new equipment and chairs for our athletic program. If you are interested in donating, please see our website for further information.
