Thank you for a wonderful turn-out for our first annual Parent Swap Day. Over 360 parents participated in making this day a success. For those who attended, wasn't it a little strange sitting in class once again as a junior high student? It is pretty neat, when you think about it, to have the opportunity to walk in your child's shoes for just a little while and see what they experience each day. Hopefully becoming 7th and 8th graders for the afternoon did not traumatize anyone too severely!

Our band directors and students treated us to an amazing concert last night. It is always a delight to hear the beautiful music that our students produce. Thank you to Mr. Muņoz, Mr. Urbina, and Ms. Bennett for all their work with our kids.

* Thursday - 10/26
- Boo in the Park begins at 6 pm Thursday evening. Our CLEAR students will be manning a booth, so be sure to stop by and visit.

* Friday - 10/27
- End of the 1st 9 weeks - can you believe it?
- Volleyball / Football Pep Rally at 3 pm.
- Patriotic Halftime - Our band and choir students will be participating. It is always an amazing program and I would encourage you to attend.

* Saturday - 10/28
- Victory Lakes Drama Festival (note date change from 11/3)
- Wrap the Town Red Rally at Stevenson Park

* Tuesday - 10/30
- Fall Choir Concert, 7 pm, at FHS
