Want to help your child in preparing for the TAKS test? On the Texas Education Agency website, your child can take the released TAKS test in any subject, any grade level. In fact, your child can take the test online and the computer will automatically score it for you. Congratulations to Robert Munoz, our lead band director. Our last year's symphonic band submitted a tape from one of their concert performances, and they received national commended recognition in the Wind Band Ensemble competition. They competed against 81 bands from more than 11 states. Quite an accomplishment!

Football and volleyball scrimmages were held this week - next week the games begin. For football, all away games begin at 4:30, while home games begin at 5 P.M. at the high school stadium.
