- Texas Local Government Code Chapter 176 requires entities,
vendors, service providers, and others who seek to do business
with the District or with whom the District already does business
to complete a Conflicts of Interest Questionnaire and file it
with the District. This form is provided by Friendswood ISD as
a courtesy. FISD did not create the form and is not responsible
for its contents. It is the responsibility of the parties
in Local Government Code Chapter 176 to complete the form and
file it with the District. Questions about how to complete
the form should be directed to the Texas Ethics Commission. The
form should be filed with George Rodgers, Assistant Superintendent
for Business Services at FISD.

*Career and Technology Education Programs
1. Friendswood ISD offers career and technology education programs in Ag Science, Business, T-I Cooperative Education, Marketing, Health Science, Family and Consumer Science and other technology areas.
Admission to these programs is based on student interest, age and grade levels, and certain prerequisites in some courses.
2. It is the policy of FISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national
origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education
Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
3. It is the policy of FISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, or age in its employment practices as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
4. FISD will take steps to assure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and vocational programs.

- 1. La FISD ofrece programas para carreras y educación
tecnologica en Ciencias de la Agricultura, Negocios, Educación
Cooperativa con las fuentes laborales, Mercadotecnia, Ciencias
de la Salud, Ciencias de la Familia y el Consumidor y otros areas
tecnologicas. La admisión a estos programas esta basada
en el interés individual de cada estudiante, su edad y
grado escolar y ciertos creditos academicos.
- 2. Es politica de la FISD no descriminar en base a raza,
color, origen, sexo o impedimentos fisicos en sus programas vocacionales,
servicios o actividades según se requiere en el Titulo
VI del Codigo de Derechos Civiles de 1964 y sus enmiendas; el
Titulo IX sobre enmiendas a la Educación de 1972; y la
sección 504 del Acto de Rehabilitación de 1973,
según sus enmiendas.
- 3. Es la politica de la FISD no descriminar en base a raza,
