About Community Education
Friendswood I.S.D. offers the Community Education program as a public service to residents of Friendswood and the surrounding communities.

Community Education offers three sessions of education, enrichment, and recreation classes each year, and residence in Friendswood I.S.D. is not required to either take or teach our classes. The fall and spring sessions serve children and adults of all ages through classes offered at Friendswood High School and other local sites. The summer session is typically held during the month of June and serves school age youths through a program of daytime classes.

Friendswood Community Education has an Advisory Council of 15-25 members who support the program. The Council meets 3-4 times per year to plan future classes, activities, and partnerships. Members of the Council represent numerous school, community, and business interests.

If you would like to serve on the Community Education Advisory Council, please call us at 281/482-6000.
