Our substitute list is now closed except to nurses and certified teachers.

Certified teachers and nurses may bring their applications at any time during the year. Applications can be picked up at the receptionist's desk at the Administration building at 302 Laurel Dr, Friendswood.

Other documents that may be needed (i.e. official transcripts, diploma, CPR certificate) will be collected at the orientation/training meeting.

Due to the expected large volume of applications, it is not necessary to contact the Human Resources Department to confirm our receipt of your packet.  You will receive a confirmation email from the HR department within one week of our receipt of your application.

Applicants will be contacted to attend a training session after the review process is completed.  All applicants will be required to attend training before beginning any assignments.  You will be contacted in a timely manner to schedule your training date.

Certified Teachers and Nurses Only

Process:

STEP 1:     Fill out application completely and bring to Personnel Office. Do not provide any additional documents at this time.

STEP 2:     Human Resources will email a confirmation receipt to you within 1 week.

STEP 3:     HR will contact you by phone in a timely manner to schedule your attendance at a training.
You will also be given information regarding fingerprinting, if applicable.

STEP 4:     Bring driver's license and social security card to the training.
Bring fingerprinting receipt (if applicable).
Bring any additional documents needed at the time of the training
(i.e. official transcripts, copy of HS diploma, CPR card – see chart above)

STEP 5:     Once training is complete and all necessary paperwork received, you will be active in the system (1-3 days)
