Applications that have already been downloaded will be accepted until September 20th.  If you have possession of a substitute packet, bring or mail your substitute application packet to the Personnel Office by the 20th for processing.  

*Nurses and Certified teachers may obtain an application at any time during the year by coming to the Administration Building to receive a packet.

All substitues are required to have completed the fingerprinting process to be in compliance with the 2007 Texas Legislature -Senate Bill 9. You will be given this information when contacted after application is received and training is scheduled. New substitutes to Friendswood ISD will need to attend a 2-1/2 hr training as well as complete the fingerprinting process (if not already done so for another Texas public school system) to become an active substitute for our district.

STEP 1: Fill out application completely and provide copy of social security card and driver's license.
STEP 2: Personnel will contact you as to the status of fingerprinting and to schedule your substitute training.
STEP 3: Prepare to have additional documents, if needed, submitted to Personnel Office by date of training.
