The next meeting of the Anime Cub will be next week on Thursday, February 16, from 4:00-4:30 in Miss McCarthy's room - 8219.
Tryouts for FJH Girls Tennis will begin today Monday, February 6 after school. Tryouts are open to 7th and 8th graders with a Physical on file with the High School Athletic Trainer. You must provide your own tennis racquet.
Tryouts for the FJH swim team will be Tuesday 2/14 through Thursday 2/16, and Saturday 2/18. You MUST have an athletic physical turned in to the High School trainer by February 10. Sign up for a tryout day and time in Mrs. Marshall’s room (#8233) by Friday February 10 at the latest. Please see Mrs. Marshall’s teacher website for more information on the team and tryout requirements.
Attention 7th and 8th grade students! Are you ready for one of the best dances of the year? The annual Valentine's dance is going to be held Friday, February 17 from 7-10pm. Come out and dance the night away with a hip professional dj. Tickets will be 5 dollars at the door and concessions will be held at the dance. Don't have a date? Not a problem, party rock with your friends! See you then!

Tryouts Freshmen Cheer squad
There will be a mandatory cheer tryout meeting on Feb 22 at 6:30 pm in the FHS library for all 8th graders interested in trying out for the 2012-2013 Freshmen cheer squad. Information as well as tryout packets will be handed out at the meeting.
Attention UIL Academic Team:
Practice for your events will be on Thursdays right after school in the Trailblazer room.
If you have signed up to participate in the UIL academic meet then you will need to stay after school on Thursdays for practice.
