Joel Hannemann, Windsong's Assistant Principal,
is a native Texan who has spent his entire education career in
the Friendswood Independent School District.
After receiving both his bachelor's and master's
degrees from Lamar University in Beaumont, Mr. Hannemann began
his career as the Athletic Trainer at Friendswood High School.

After a 14 year stint in that role, he became
an assistant principal at FHS and then came to Windsong when
the school opened in the fall of 1999. He believes that all students
deserve a strong educational background and hopes to assist providing
this for all Windsong students.
In his spare time, Mr. Hannemann enjoys being
outdoors, being a baseball fan, and spending time with his son,
a freshman at FHS. Visiting major league ballparks across the
country is of special interest and he notes Wrigley Field in
Chicago, PNC Park in Pittsburgh and Fenway Park in Boston as
three of his favorites.
