Jan Lane, Windsong's Assistant Principal, received her BS in Early childhood Education from Illinois State University. She went on to receive her MS in elementary Education from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. She taught 3 years in a private preschool and 2 years as the Director of a Day Care Center at a community college. She has spent the last 23 years teaching in Friendswood. She taught 14 years in grade 3 at Westwood and 3 years at Cline before moving to Windsong 6 years ago to teach 5th Grade. Jan has been a proud Friendswood resident for the last 25 years where she still resides with her husband. Jan is the proud mother of two daughters, one son-in-law and two granddaughters.
