Markley - What a phenominal year we had last year. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by this incredible Westwood staff, your children, and all of the supportive parents that gave so much to help make our classroom a success. I am so thankful for the Texas sized hearts on each of you. One of my absolute favorite things in the world is reading a good book. I'll be sharing many this year with my students and hope that they love it as much as I do! I'm really looking forward to getting to know my kids and getting the year started. My years at Westwood have been ones that I look back on with fond memories, and I know this next year will be an equal success. We're going to have a wonderful year! |

Waltenbaugh - I graduated from Akron Universitiy t and spent the next three years teaching in a private school, substitute teaching, and tutuoring. My husband's job brought us down to Texas. I took a year off to have a baby and to adjust to life in Texas. I then came back to teaching in 1990 here at Westwood. I have been here now for 16 years. My goal is for all students to have fun learning. I want them to stretch themselves as learners. Quality is essential to achieving that goal. Above all, I want my students to feel proud of their accomplishments! |
