Ellisor - I have taught in Friendswood since 1976. I started as a substitute teacher, then was hired as a full time teacher in fourth grade. I have taught third grade for over 20 years.
I have always wanted to teach. It brings me joys and tears. It offers me challenges and rewards. I am in it for the pay--the hugs, the smiles, the affirmations I receive from parents and students, past and present. |

Wyble - I was raised on a small farm in Opelousas, Louisiana. I am the fourth of five children. Growing up around horses and cattle, I developed a love for animals, but more importantly our family farm taught me about responsibility and teamwork. I earned a degree in Journalism at Northwestern State University. Following 8 years of experience in Public Relations, sales & marketing, I went back to school at night and earned a Masters' Degree in Education. I've taught classes in Missouri, The UK, and Florida before coming to Westwood Elementary in 2000. Although I do enjoy the cerebral value of books, technology, and watching performing arts, I'm more of a adventurist than a spectator. I like: travel, camping/gardening, home improvement/do-it-yourself projects, photography, drawing, and often just some sweaty hard labor. |
