Alyssa Dillon - I'm originally from Amarillo, Texas. I went to Texas A&M (go Aggies!) and I moved to Houston in 2003. I've been teaching since 1998 and love every minute of it! I've taught grades PK thru 1st grade. My favorite thing about teaching is just being with kids and all the wonderful things they say and do everyday. I love to watch them grow throughout the year!

Sarah Huckabee - I am originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. I received my degree from Southwest Texas State University. I love teaching young children! It warms my heart to see their faces light up as they are exploring and learning new things. It is my goal to make learning fun and exciting and make my children feel successful in their endeavors.

Kathryn Hulsey - I am so excited to be teaching here at Westwood! I graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a degree in Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy reading, inline skating, and spending time with my family.

Kathryn Kinloch - Team Leader

Michelle Millsaps - I am a 1988 graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Advertising. I attained my teacher certification through the Galveston County PACT program. I cannot imagine working with any other age group than my kindergartners. They make each day so special and they always bring out the sunshine behind the clouds.

Sondra Niland - I am a graduate of Texas A&M University. I love to learn and hope that love will be instilled in the children who are learning with me. This will be an
exceptional year of learning, reaching well beyond our expectations. When at home, my
hobbies are researching lesson plans and reading children's literature, playing in the garden, spending time with my family and attending collegiatesporting events.

Paula Owens - I am so excited to be at Westwood this year! We are going to have a great year! This will be my eleventh year to teach Kindergarten and after several years received my Master of Science in Early Childhood from UHCL. Kindergarten is my passion and I look forward to meeting and working with all of my "new friends".

Laura Vail - I am beginning my 6th year as a kindergarten teacher. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Agricultural Education and I received my Elementary certification in July of 2002. I am looking forward to working with your child this year and helping him/her to achieve his/her full potential. I believe that a good parent- teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success. Your support of school activities makes your child feel important and sends the message that school is a priority to your family.
