| Students in Carolyn
Poole's first-grade class recently brainstormed possibilities
for a story they'd like to write before visiting Stacey Markley's
second grade students to share their story ideas. They buzzed
with a buddy, who them helped them to start their stories with
a good lead sentence. This sort of win-win partnership between
grade levels benefits the younger student as well as the older
role model they look up to; just look at how engaged these little
workers are and how proud of their finished products they seem.
"The kids were great and it's an activity I'd like to be
able to do again next year," Mrs. Markley remarked with
enthusiasm. |
