| Under the direction
of Laura Rachita, this year's second-grade musical, Child
of the World, promises to make a lasting impression on the
hearts of its audience members. Our character cam caught them
in rehearsal Thursday morning as they prepared to present the
program to parents and community members Thursday night. During
the two performances, one at 5:15 p.m. and the other at 6:15
p.m., students showcase traits like honesty, compassion, courage,
respect, responsibility as they sing about what it takes to become
a Child of the World. The show even incorporates heroes like
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln as models of whom and how
our students would like to be when they grow up. |

| This heartwarming
musical is sure to touch those fortunate enough to join us. A
huge thank you to all of the specials teachers for their flexibility
and to everyone else who helped Mrs. Rachita bring this awesome
production to life on the Westwood stage. |
