| Students at Westwood spent a part of Valentine's
Day 2008 making cute crafty projects to celebrate caring, friendship,
and love. But as it turns out, Valentine's Day is twice as nice
with our friends from the animal kingdom. Mice made out of hearts,
bunny Valentines, yellow jackets saying "BEE Mine,"
even a new pink seal friend for Seymour and the clan, all joined
in on the special-occasion fun. Decorated boxes and bags were
lined up and ready for our class parties on Friday. Since we
are focusing on Trustworthiness, the friendship pillar, all month
long, we anticipate that the spirit of goodness will continue
long after the candy is eaten, the flowers have wilted, and the
Valentine boxes have been put away. Why not challenge your little
Valentines to keep giving that gift of kindness to each other
all year long! |
