| In addition to all
of the moms who joined us for our last Wednesday Warbles of the
month, Westwood welcomed Dr. Rebecca Hillenburg as our special
guest of honor this week. In recognition of School Board Month,
we adopted Dr. Hillenburg as our honorary Trustee and presented
her with a signed copy of the book, Hey, Little Ant, from
our Family Character Night Picnic. After our students dedicated
today's song, I'm Gonna Keep My Promises, to her in appreciation
for her service, Dr. Hillenburg graciously accepted our invitation
to address the student body to talk briefly about the role of
a School Board Member. |

| Following our morning gathering,
our guest of honor was treated to a continental breakfast with
nine students who were randomly selected from a larger group
of nominees that stand out as role models at Westwood. Words
cannot adequately express our gratitude to Dr. Hillenburg and
all of our School Board Trustees for their hours of dedication
and support on our behalf; thank you, thank you! |
