Friday was a special day when
kindergartners from Mrs. Millsaps class celebrated the union
of the letters Q and U. Students dressed up for the occasion
to watch the Q marry the U so that they could make words like
queen, quit, quack, quiet, and quarter. Instead of the traditionally-formal
wedding dinner and dance, students celebrated with lunch and
a few extra minutes of recess, followed by cake and punch. Westwood
wishes the newlyweds happiness in their life together.
