| Two kindergarten
classes met Friday for a friendly competition with a couple dozen
raw eggs. Raw eggs, you ask? Eggxactly, but they
were protected by students in some very creative ways. There
were eggs packed in bubble wrap, eggs packed in jello, and eggs
packed in flour. There was an egg suspended in a coffee can wrapped
in panty hose. There was even an egg surrounded by air and sealed
up tight in a zipper-lock baggie. You see, the competition involved
dropping eggs from a ladder to see if they wouldn't break. |

| Students dropped
their eggs off of a 6 foot ladder. In Mrs. Vail's class, two
out of 16 broke; in Mrs. Dillon's class, however, only one out
of 15 broke. Following the egg drop, the eggshausted
teachers enjoyed a little stress relief by breaking the eggs
that didn't break during the competition, which cracked everyone
up! |
